A special piece

We are thrilled to hang this in our home. After much debate we opted for the metal print and are so glad we did. It is a truly special piece. It feels both dramatic and calming. It is goregous, and brought a bit of the wild winter wonderland into our home.

Mesmerizing photo

I met Omar at the Edina art fair and was so drawn in by his aerial photography! My daughter bought a print of the colorful scene on the beach and I bought a metal print of this, Mallards Fighting Winter. It is mysterious, remarkable, and draws you into the scene. As the lakes start to freeze up, ducks will start migrating to warmer places. In this unique scene, I spotted this activity from a distance with my drone. As I got closer I saw this view live from my screen and I was stunned by the massive amount of ducks gathered up and surrounded by ice in every direction.

The key for the water not to freeze is to keep it moving and I bet this was among the last areas to freeze up on the lake.
